New Release: OBAŸASHI - Sensation

OBAŸASHI is a project that’s sole purpose is to create a space for listeners to rid themselves of negative energy and feel the positive vibrations of tech-house music.

Moments that changed OBAŸASHI’s life occurred on the dancefloor, as the world around her disappeared and the music kept her grounded. 

OBAŸASHI began her musical journey DJing dubstep in her bedroom in 2016, yet after hearing “Untrue” by Tchami everything changed for her, and “house music became everything.”

She used to pull inspiration from crowds and shows but now that COVID has changed the music industry, OBAŸASHI has utilized this time to learn more about different subgenres of house.

This chance to explore different genres and using EDM as a form of therapy for her has brought about a new motivation to produce her music. 

‘Sensation’ recalls the acid house wave of the British Underground in the late ’80s, massive warehouse raves that set the tone for the beginning of the modern scene as we know it today.

After more than two years in the making, this acid house banger is the latest track being released with BLAQ VOID and is just the start of much more to come from OBAŸASHI  in 2021.
