New Release: okult - Let You Go
Step a little further into the Void with us as we dive into the creation of okult. This new electronic team was forged in the shadows of late nights at BLAQ VOID parties and HQ.
Members Brian (XIIIX) and Venice (VRZ), both with their own respective projects, would share music and ideas back and forth until one hazy night in December 2020 at 3 am Brian approached Venice. In a moment of divine creation the two decided they would be okult. “okult” ideates the mysterious element of BLAQ VOID in the occult tradition.
Moved by the brilliance of sound design by Greats such as RL Grime, Boombox Cartel, Hex Cougar, and Lemay, the music they produce makes them feel energized, inspired, and alive. The new project blends distinct sounds from XIIIX and VRZ’s solo projects in a wild hybridization of dark future bass, trap, and hardstyle. Expect some out-of-this-world sounds to come from this crew.
‘Let You Go’ was created as a splice between the two styles of the duo. Each artist added a different drop and style to create a masterpiece. An epic slow opening with piano notes builds to a big room festival trap type drop. Reminiscent of the old days, this track drives one to the heavens and back.
What lies in the future for okult? They plan to grow and develop with all of their friends at BLAQ VOID and beyond in the music industry and will be releasing much more music in the coming months.
